Debbie Trovato began doing Classical Stretch on PBS in 2009 after she had knee repair surgery. She found that she had healing in her knee, as hoped, but also increased mobility, much improved posture, toning and weight loss: benefits which continue almost ten years later.
Gene Trovato was a runner who had no interest in a “stretching” program. When he finally began the Essentrics program he was amazed by how rewarding it can be to add the strengthening to the stretching. His results: significantly lower cholesterol, went from “pre diabetes” to “significantly low risk” of diabetes, reduction in blood pressure, weight loss and increased flexibility. Plus he plays better golf than ever before.
Debbie and Gene enjoy sharing this program with others and showing them the power we have to make our bodies the best they can be at every age!
I do Essentrics because it is good for my body, mind and soul. Essentrics is a fun and enjoyable way to stretch and tone without putting undo stress on joints and muscles. Following the routines is also good exercise for my brain. According to my Polar Heart Rate Monitor, for the Essentrics class, my heart rate range was the same as when I do my StairMaster workout. Debbie and Gene are committed to helping participants reach their individual health goals.”
I do Essentrics because I know how important it is to keep my body limbered and flexible. Essentrics has improved my stamina along with flexibility. They are such genuinely nice and compassionate people. When they lead a class, they are articulate and easy to follow.”
I do Essentrics in the hope that I can stop the progression of weakening strength that I’ve noticed over the last few years. It has improved my flexibility even though there is a long way to go, yet. It has improved my leg strength. My legs don’t tremble when I go downstairs. It completely manages my Sciatica. Each class is a challenging workout, and I have a great feeling of accomplishment after each. I can sit on the floor with a straight back now. It’s exhilarating and reassuring that I can do Essentrics.”
